Ardachy House Hotel

Ardachy is tucked away in rugged farmlands of a typical croft, some two miles south of the small village of Bunessan. The ferry terminal for the islands of Iona, Staffa (Fingal's Cave) and Treshnish, is only 7 miles distance.

The hotel has a southerly aspect over the deserted sands of Ardalanish Bay and beyond to the Hebridean islands of Jura, Colonsay and Islay. On a clear day, the coast of Ireland is visible.  Click here for 360 panoramic image.

There is a choice of eight comfortable bedrooms—single, double, twin or family sized—seven of which offer shower & toilet facilities en suite. All bedrooms are equipped with hairdryers, radios, tea making facilities and convector heaters.

Enjoy the wonderful seascape from the south facing lounge and sample some of our Island Malt Whiskies.

Dinner is prepared daily from fresh produce and prior reservation is essential. We offer a three course table d'hote menu, but are happy to discuss individual dietary requirements.

Ardachy has no television reception, but we trust that the sound of the sea and the cry of the buzzard will more than make up for its absence.
